Widgets are the Userlike chat elements that you implement on your website(s) and/or connect to your messaging apps. You can implement one widget on as many pages and websites as you like. If you want different designs and chat behavior for different website pages, then you need multiple Widgets.
“Channels” refer to the messaging apps that you can connect to Userlike: Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp, Telegram, SMS or any custom channel. The WhatsApp channel is available from our Team plan onwards.

We do not distinguish between types of users, so you do also need seats for operators that don’t engage in customer conversations.
WhatsApp channel costs are differentiated between support conversations and marketing conversations. The WhatsApp channel starts with the Team plan, including 1,000 support conversations. After that, WhatsApp charges a fee for each conversation (plus 1 cent processing fee per message). Conversations always last 24 hours. Any number of messages can be exchanged during this period. For company-initiated conversations, e.g. marketing campaigns, there is no free quota - the WhatsApp fee is charged as of the first marketing conversation (plus processing fee). The team plan provides 100 campaign messages per month, for unlimited marketing messages you need to book our add-on "WhatsApp Campaigns Unlimited" for 39 Euro/month. Keep in mind that using the same WhatsApp number for support requests and for campaigns will result in having the bot assigned automatically to every conversation. To ensure you're able to provide the best possible experience for your customers, it might be a good idea to get a separate WhatsApp number specifically for your campaigns.

Just get in touch with us if you’d like to test features from the higher plans. After this free trial, your account automatically switches to the Free plan. This way you can test Userlike without any risk and you will be able to continue to offer support after your trial without any hiccups. But your feature set will be limited to the core features described above.

No, you can sign up and chat with your customers for 14 days without entering your credit card details. At the end of your trial, or when you decide you are ready to use Userlike professionally, you can pick a plan and enter your credit card details.
Besides credit card, you are welcome to pay via SEPA direct debit mandate if you hold a billing address in the EU. As a Flex customer, you may also pay through bank transfer. Contact us for more information.
Depending on your location, you can pay in euros, British pounds or U.S. dollars.
For a two-year subscription, you’ll receive a 20% discount on any product besides Userlike Flex. For a one-year subscription, you’ll get 10%. We also offer generous discounts for nonprofits and startups. Just get in touch with us.
The duration of your plan can be one month, twelve months or twenty-four months and continue as long as you wish. If Userlike doesn't fulfill your expectations, you can easily cancel at any time. The contract will then end after the running period.
